Reverend Vince Anderson is a New York staple. His Mondays with the Love Choir attract all kinds of audiences ready for a Monday kick in the soul. His dirty gospel has a way to reach your insides and make you feel somewhat divine without intrusion. These Monday night gatherings have been happening uninterrupted for 23 years and feature amazing soul, jazz, gospel musicians from all over. When more than twice Brooklyn people tell you that this is the thing to do on Monday, you head to Union Pool, no questions asked, and get the good vibes and love rollin. On this night, he shared stories about his grandmother, covered rock and rock in a very gospel way, made strangers hug like friends, spread thankfulness and drank blessed shots of whiskey like water.
