Globalfest is an organization and festival running for 15years. Under the premise the music unites us, the festival brings new talent from all over the world in the spirit of music. This year, the Copacabana near Times Square, New York was the epicenter of the event alluring music industry professionals and lovers, transcending borders through sounds.

The performers came from Palestine, Germany, Africa, Canada, Latin America, and the list can continue. The word "futurism" resonated with tropical, global bass, indigenous music and more while still holding latin, jazz, afro-caribbean and other roots from the planet. There was plenty of up and coming talent displayed and many of the performances are a vision to see. Waltzing between rooms to catch the next band, I started my year photo documenting music in New York, and Globalfest was definitely a highlight. All photos Farah Sosa / FARAHSTOP.
